The Georgia – North Florida – South Carolina Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) provides no-cost energy, productivity, and waste assessments to small and medium sized industrial facilities through funding provided by the U.S. Department of Energy. The Center serves manufacturing clients across the entire state of Georgia, as well as parts of North Florida and South Carolina. The IAC team consists of faculty and student engineers from three Universities: Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) and the School of Mechanical Engineering), Florida A&M, and Florida State University. The Georgia-North Florida IAC has performed thousands of assessments since the 1980s, and typically identifies at least 10% energy savings for each client. Our assessments include:

  • A team of faculty and student engineers
  • One-day site visit to your facility, including a tour and data gathering
  • Customized report including energy/cost savings recommendations, with return on investment
  • Follow-up discussion to assist with implementation

Before applying, be sure to check the eligibility requirements.
